Dubai police chief plans to ask for the arrest of Prime Minister (PM) Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad) for killing the commander of the Hamas group.
Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai police chief said he would ask prosecutors Dubai to issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and the head of the Mossad. Such as reported by Al Jazeera television station and reported by Reuters on Wednesday (3/3/2010).
But Al Jazeera did not give further details.
Tamim had previously said that he was "almost certain" Israeli agents involved in killing the commander of Hamas, Mahmoud al-Mabhouh at a hotel in Dubai in January. Tamim also urged Meir Dagan, the Mossad chief was arrested when the Israeli intelligence services proved to be responsible.
It is said Tamim, the Mossad had "insulted" Dubai and Western countries which used fake passports murder suspects.
A United Arab Emirates daily preaching, Dubai has asked the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to investigate the prepaid credit cards that use the U.S. output of the suspects.
Citing FBI sources, The National newspaper writing, the investigation will seek Israel's involvement in the murder.
"Thirteen of the 27 suspects using prepaid MasterCards issued by MetaBank, a regional U.S. bank, to buy a plane ticket and hotel reservation," the daily writes quoting Dubai police.
