Having had time to release the compilation album "Sawdust" in November last year, Rock Band now from Las Vegas The Killers, preparing to release the 3rd studio album which is their "Day & Age".
With the release schedule on the upcoming 25 November 2008, The Killers back out the first single from this album is "Human" that was released on radios since 22 September last date.
To design the album cover, The Killers has appointed Paul Normansell to make covernya. While this album title by the vokalist Brandon Flowers in a statement to say "I do not know what to do, you just wait and I am also waiting for that moment to come. And I know when it actually came I immediately do!"
On this album, The Killers appointed Stuart Price to be a producer, whose name is quite popular and also had cooperation with The Killers on one of the singles on the album "Sawdust", as well as some collaborations with my Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Seal and the recently is Keane.

Netral will release a brand-new album entitled The Story of in the near future. Album contains 13 songs have various themes, including social issues, friendship and nationalism.
According to the frontman of the band's 16 year old, good, album-10 Neutral tembang is far from a mushy love. His first single is the song Garuda in my chest which is also the soundtrack of the film.
"August was able to get out. Garuda her first song at my chest," Good said, as quoted vivanews.com Sunday, June 14, 2009. "If there's a song of love that would not love mushy. More love to nationalism," added Good.
According to Good, Neutral on this album, which will be the main theme is carried on a life experienced such everyday social and friendship. They also recycle the Merdeka Day song that usually was widely heard as the celebration of independence day August 17.
In a show on television some time ago, also revealed the reasons Neutral withdrawal album release time, the original plan in May to around August 2009. The desire to produce quality work that is the cause. They had several times changed the concept of album covers and a couple of times also do mixing and again, everything is done to achieve maximum results.

Three Ways To Get Listed In Google

In this article I show you three ways to get listed in Google, including one method that is virtually guaranteed to work.
I'm constantly surprised by what I find when dealing with search engine optimization clients.
One of those "surprises" is coming across sites that aren't listed by Google, even though they have been live for many months.
For most Web sites, Google refers more traffic than any other search engine. So it's imperative that your site is indexed in Google.
As of September 09, 2003, Google claims to index Searching 3,307,998,701 web pages. Yet somehow sites still fail to make it into the Google index!
There are three simple methods to getting listed in Google, but only one of these is guaranteed... well almost. ;o)
1. Submit Direct To Google
The first method is to submit your web site via Google's free submit your site form. Just submit your home page and Google's crawler, Googlebot, will crawl the rest.
However, Google do not add all submitted URLs to their index, and there is no guarantee as to when, or if, your site will be indexed.
2. Get Linked From A Site That Google Crawls
The second method is to get a site that Google already crawls to link to your site. So when Google recrawls the web site, it will find the link to your site and crawl and index it as well.
This is Google's preferred method of finding sites to index.
To get another site to link to yours, simply look for a site that links to your competitors and ask them to link to yours. You may have to offer a link back to their site in exchange.

3. Submit Your Site To The Yahoo! Directory & The Open Directory Project Index
The third method is to submit your web site to the Yahoo! Directory and/or Open Directory Project index, which is owned by Netscape.
As far as I know, this is the only guaranteed method of getting into the Google index.
Google has agreements with Yahoo! and Netscape to include the sites indexed in their directories in the Google index. So submit your site to either, or both (recommended), of these directories.

Once your site is included in either of these directories, it will appear in the Google index in about 4 to 8 weeks.

Kedamaian Hati Adalah Kedamaian Sejati
Seorang Raja mengadakan sayembara dan akan memberi hadiah berlimpah kepada siapa saja yang bisa melukis tentang kedamaian. Ada banyak seniman dan pelukis yang berusaha keras untuk memenangkan lomba tersebut.
Ketika sayembara telah usai, sang Raja berkeliling melihat-lihat hasil karya mereka. Hanya ada dua buah lukisan yang paling disukainya. Tapi, sang Raja harus memilih satu diantara keduanya.
Lukisan pertama menggambarkan sebuah telaga yang tenang. Permukaan telaganya bagaikan cermin sempurna yang mematulkan kedamaian gunung- gunung yang menjulang tenang disekitarnya. Di atasnya terpampang langit biru dengan awan putih berarak-arak. Semua yang memandang lukisan ini akan berpendapat, inilah lukisan terbaik mengenai kedamaian.
Lukisan kedua menggambarkan pegunungan juga. Namun tampak kasar dan gundul. Di atasnya terlukis langit yang gelap dan merah menandakan turunnya hujan badai, sedangkan tampak kilat menyambar-nyambar liar. Di sisi gunung ada air terjun deras yang berbuih-buih, sama sekali tidak menampakkan ketenangan dan kedamaian.
Tapi, sang Raja melihat sesuatu yang menarik, di balik air terjun itu tumbuh semak-semak kecil diatas sela-sela batu. Di dalam semak-semak itu seekor induk burung pipit meletakkan sarangnya. Jadi, ditengah-tengah riuh rendahnya air terjun, seekor induk pipit sedang mengerami telurnya dengan damai. Benar-benar damai.

SID, punk rock pioneers of Bali, were born and bred in Kuta Rock City. The band is three chord attitude-heavy young men, by name : Bobby Kool (lead vocal, guitar, a dog lover and a graphic designer) , Eka Rock (low ridin' family man, beer drinker, laid back bass and backing vocal and a warm smilin' Rock 'N Roll bandman, IT warior) , Jrx (low ridin' beer drinking Rock 'N Roll prince charming, drummer and a hairwax junkie, Bar owner)
The name 'Superman is Dead' started its' evolution from Stone Temple Pilot's "Superman Silvergun". The name moved on to "Superman is Dead" cause they like the idea that there's no such thing as a perfect person out there.
SID actually stumbled together in '95, drawn by their common love of Green Day and NOFX. Their influences soon extended to the punk 'n roll genre a la Supersuckers, Living End and Social Distortion, and here they stay. They say what they wanna say, how they wanna say it. In your face, to say it precisely.
SID public image, self described, is "Punk Rock a Bali" (think raw energy of NOFX vs Social Distortion supersonically fueled with beer-soaked Balinese Rockabilly attitude).
History ? SID produced their first three albums independently (the boys worked years of crappy night jobs), with fabulous, small scale indie labels 1997 "Case 15", 1999 "Superman is Dead", 2002 "Bad Bad Bad"(mini album, 6 tracks).
In March 2003, SID finally signed with Sony-BMG Indonesia after extended negotiations regarding their right to sing the majority of their tracks in English and have full artistic rights over their 'image'!! With that decision they single handedly became the first band from Bali to be invited to sign with a major recording label in Indonesia, the first band in their nation (to my knowledge) to be recording majority of songs in English and the first punk band in Indonesia to get the national exposure and promotion that working with a major label in a third world country provides. And so the history of Indonesian Punk Rock begins!
And as for the question that everyone wants to know, the infamous bomb in Bali happened about 75 M from their home, hangout center, punk rock boutique, bar and rehearsal studio that is also Jrx' house, in the heart of Kuta.
After panel beating back the rolling doors of the studio and shifting a little debris, rehearsals continued as usual. Yeah, they saw a lot, it sucked big time, but its' not gonna stop 'em!
And where are they now? At the end of 2002, one of the more respectable music mags here cited SID as "The Next Big Thing" for 2003. With the release of their fourth album "Kuta Rock City" followed by major air play nationally and in some countries overseas, coupled with the instant popularity of their newest film clip.
SID suddenly find themselves touring continuously throughout Indonesia. Last week they were in four major Indonesian cities, on three islands, in 7 days! Sometimes playing for free at underground scene clubs, sometimes at street skate parties or alternative band festivals, at lots of universities and even occasionally at "classy" venues who would have probably denied them entrance years ago!
Which means more beers for all.
In 2003 SID even got a mention in Time Asia.
They also won a few music awards “MTV Awards for The Best New Artist 2003”, “AMI Awards for The Best New Artist 2003” and nominated again in “AMI Awards 2006 for The Best Rock Album”.
October 2007, they did an amazing Australian tour, 8 cities, 16 gigs, 33 days with their strong D.I.Y work ethic.
SID had share stages with international bands such as International Noise Conspiracy, NOFX, MXPX and Hoobastank.
They remain proud, boys from the streets of Kuta with a love of punk rock, beers and a good time. Ready for whatever comes next, excited about the next gig.

After a few months recuperation from our last tour (a trek that lasted almost 4 months) I was really excited to get out of town. You know, I have friends and love my dog, but sometimes tour is the only ticket out of the mundane times of being a working stiff and girlfriendless. So when Knapsack, my other rock band, decided to go on a 2-week tour of playing bowling alleys, churches and abandoned school houses (for no money), I said hell yeah. It was really fun to go out with those guys and At the Drive In (our tourmates...probably the best new band I've seen in 5 years) but a bit rough. Basically, except for one show opening for Archers of Loaf, we played in front of sparse crowds but enjoyed a lot of 'love'. Thankfully, the kids really like the 'sack' in the areas we played (from Milwaukee to NYC and back) so our tour felt kinda worth while. Thanks alot to all that came and cared. I met a lot of cool people like the Promise Ringers and Compound Reders in Milwaukee, Josiah and Marie, the Melody bar friends, and saw Sean in NYC. Yay for friends.
Anyway, back to Samiam. When Knapsack got home, I had 2 days off, then we (the 'sack) played in SF (with Promise Ring and Jets to Brazil) and flew to Edmonton to start the Samiam tour. The rest of the band had to endure a torturous, show laden drive while I enjoyed the creature comforts of 'coach-class' American Airlines.
The first week of the trip was in Canada with a band called, Greater Than Less Than. A real nice bunch of guys. We played a bunch of shows in the places that we either had never been to or haven't seen since our very first tour in 1990. It was great fun and full of really enthusiastic crowds. It seems that there are people up there that have actually waited a number of years to see us...which we didn't really expect. You know, maybe they had forgotten about us or never really heard of us because we never came...so we were really happy.
Next we popped down to the states and played in Green Bay, always a pleasant experience, and decided to throw down $800 on some fucked up brakes. Aren't we generous? With a rental van we cruised to Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit, Toledo and back. A bunch of good shows.
One highlight was at the Metro in Chicago, where Jason decided to battle with a faux heckler by bringing him on stage. I can't tell you what happened (there are profanity standards now on the internet, aren't there?) but I have to state for the record: Jason IS married and NOT gay. And for you Chicagians that were there...he definitely did NOT enjoy it.
For alot of these shows, we teamed up with our old friends from Ireland, Blink. If you read my previous entries, you know we love these lads dearly. And, although Blink 182 did open a tour for us once (before they were big), this is not the same Blink. Anyway, back in Green Bay, we exchanged the rental van for our little bus and headed east once more. Unfortunately, after about 5 shows, our vehicle blew up again and it was us on the highway racing to the Troc in Philadelphia in another rental van. We made it in the nick of time and rocked a bit, drank a bit and watched Swervedriver, whom where our tourmates for the last week of shows.
Swervedriver we really great and nice...we've been fans for years. But to be honest, their roadie guy was a jerk. He treated us like a bunch of stooges: not giving us sound checks, trying to boss us around and always trying to make MP set up his drums in front of theirs. Now, they are a great band, but lets be realistic, they aren't very popular. In fact, at some shows, people left after we played. Not to sound competitive or egocentric....that was just the way it was. Anyway, if it was any other band, we would have probably made a scene...but instead we just grinned and bared it. Plus Todd, from their label, Zero Hour, was a roadie a was really cool. Unfortunately, we missed our Buffalo show due to the van problems. Judging from the hate e-mail that I received, many people went to see us and were disappointed...so were we.
Any hoot, our last show was in Worchester, near Boston, and Sean took a train back to NYC while Jason flew home. This left the familiar situation of James, MP and I driving the entire length of the States home (we just did that over the summer at the end of our last tour). It sucked but it was fun at points. If you are wondering, it took us three long days and nights.
After a few weeks rest, the boys reconvened at my house to practice new songs and finally get around to learning a few tunes for compilations we've been putting off. We never practice because Sean lives in New York and MP in LA, so it was really fun. I guess we aren't 'from' the bay area....we definitely aren't a local band. In the last two years, we've played Berlin 3 times, Tokyo 9 times, NYC 6 times but SF only twice...both times unannounced.
Back to the practice. We hammered out the skeletons of eight new songs for the next record (and put them to tape on a 4-track) and learned 2 covers and a 9th song for the aforementioned compilation records. The first being 'search and destroy' by the Stooges for the Blackout! label. They have a series of comps called, 'Punk Rock Jukebox' and we are going to be on the latest in the series. The song came out so well that we are thinking of putting it out as a CD single....but we'll see. Sean played a great bunch of solos (on guitar)and Jason really belted it out....I think people will like it. The next song was 'Here Comes Your Man' for a Pixies tribute album. I personally never bought a tribute cd, but Weezer and the Getup Kids are on it and we all love the Pixies...so we did it. The final song was really fun. It is only 27 seconds long and it the most punk sounding sound we have done since the first record. It's for a Fat Wreck Chords compilation of all songs 30 seconds or under. I work for Fat doing graphics (you might have seen some of my shit: High Standard, Snuff, Tilt, Sick of it All, etc..) so they asked if we could do it...in case you are wondering why Fat would be interested in Samiam. Pretty much every punk band you can think of is on it, so you should check it out when it comes out next year. Thanks to Billie Joe 'cuz he wasted a saturday in his basement studio recording us.
Two days later, I was on a plane to Frankfurt. Even though we go to Europe every year, I was excited...and this tour ended up being probably our best yet. Ordinarily, we tour europe for 6 to 8 weeks, going pretty much everywhere but this time we decided to leave it to 3 weeks. On previous tours we've seen ourselves squander the money we made getting to the farther out areas of the continent....so this time most of the shows were just in Germany. Thanks to Burning Heart and the skillful planing of Philipp this tour was much better in terms of attendance, enthusiastic fans and finances...thanks guys.
The opening acts were a German band called the Donots and NYC's Errortype 11; all really nice guys. All bands and a tour manager/soundman shared a double decker tour bus from hell....it had to be fancy once, maybe 20 years ago, but now smelled of ass. Aw, I'll spare you from complaining, it was o.k.. The shows were consistently good, except for a snowed out show of 70 people and a weird 12-paid gig in a Swiss village, they averaged about 350 people. This meant that the places we were playing were sweaty, smoky and full of people that didn't speak much English. The way I like it.
Errortype 11 are a band on Some records (a label run by Sammy from Civ and Walter from Quicksand) that have a poppier Quicksandish sound. Really neat dual-guitars and melodic vocals. They were immediately considered 'old friends'.
The Donots sound like Hot Water Music mixed with California pop punk. They were really good and will probably be big in Europe soon. Philipp said that they will probably be Viva poster boys (Viva is a German teen magazine that is unlike American magazines in the respect that they have naked 16 year olds and talk about sex and drugs and stuff).
Both bands were excited to meet my friend Geoff (from England) that joined the tour for 4 days. It's funny, I have been with him in Sweden, Belgium, England and America and still, 4 years later, he is totally recognized by strangers on the street as the guy from the 'Real World'. He was on 5 or 6 episodes of the MTV shlock show as a 'friend' of the cast when he lived here in San Francisco. He pretends that it bothers him to stick out, but I think he secretly enjoys it. Ha, ha...
Our friend Paul Drake, who roadied for Knapsack, finished his eurotour with Braid and Burning Airlines and came with us for the last 3 shows. He is a great guy and think though we were not too much of bunch of kooks. He roadies for Jimmy Eat World, so I will see him on January 9th when the 'sack and J.E.W. play in San Francisco.
Anyway the tour was great (and I even met a girl!) but as soon as it started, it was over. Now I am home and am waiting for January when we start practicing again. Hopefully we will record in April or march. Already we have European tour plans in June. We'll see what 1999 has in store....

BOX CAR RACER
Box Car Racer was a side-project from two members of the band Blink-182, featuring guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker. DeLonge formed Box Car Racer to experiment with and record ideas he felt were not "Blink-friendly", along with Travis Barker. David Kennedy from Hazen Street completed the trio and an eponymous album was ready to be recorded. Tom was insistent on a bass player, so he hired Anthony Celestino who was Kennedy's friend. Guests on the album included Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 on the song "Elevator", and Tim Armstrong from Rancid and Jordan Pundik from New Found Glory on "Cat Like Thief".
DeLonge and Barker claim the group was heavily influenced by Dischord emo, citing influences such as Rites of Spring, Fugazi and later era post-hardcore bands such as Quicksand.

So you just bought your first drum kit and you want to know how to play the drums. Or, maybe you don’t own a drum kit yet but you still have that passion to play drums. Well, you have come to the right place to learn. Learning how to play drums is actually very easy; you don’t need to own a drum kit at all when you are beginning. In fact, the first few steps in learning how to play drums involves you, 2 sticks and a practice pad. How To Play Drums – First Steps
The first steps to playing the drums is by counting. Without being able to count or understand time signatures, you are useless behind the kit. Everyone knows how to count to 4 – this will be the basis of your beat. Most basic rock drumming beats are in the time signature of 4/4, meaning there are 4 counts each bar. (or 4 counts before the beat repeats). From here, you want to follow your counting with your dominant (usually your right) hand. With this hand, hit the hi hat on every count. The rest is actually quite simple, now that you are counting, simply add your bass drum and snare drum on the counts. Add your bass drum on 1, and the snare on 3. This will be your basic drum beat.
Now that you have learned the basics on how to play drums, you will be able to see how beats are built around this basic pattern. If you can count to 4, you can play the drums, as I have just shown you. This is the basics to most rock drumming beats and grooves. Next you will want to practice stick control and drum rudiments. Learning how to play rudiments will help you build independence and speed around your drum kit. But do not go too fast at first, pace yourself. Make sure you have a feel for the drum set and your sticks. Start out with the two most common rudiments, the Single stroke roll and the Double stroke roll. Become very familiar with that basic 4/4 groove, so you can play it at different tempos.
Remember, you are a drummer whose main task is to keep everyone on time, so make sure your timing is very precise. Playing the drums is a lot more than just playing a beat on time – there’s much more to it. You want to feel the beat, feel the time, and feel the groove. There is also much you can learn about stick control. A drummer should be able to create the mood and groove for any song, adding fills and accents in to spice things up. First wave (1985–1994)
In 1985 in Washington, D.C., Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto, veterans of the DC hardcore music scene, took their music in a more personal direction with a far greater sense of experimentation, bringing forth MacKaye's Embrace and Picciotto's Rites of Spring. The style of music developed by Embrace and Rites of Spring soon became its own sound. As a result of the renewed spirit of experimentation and musical innovation that developed the new scene, the summer of 1985 soon came to be known in the scene as "Revolution Summer".[7]
Where the term emo actually originated is uncertain: the earliest print citation found so far appears in 1997,[8] although some claim that members of Rites of Spring mentioned in a 1985 Flipside Magazine interview that some of their fans had started using the term to describe their music.[citation needed]
Within a short time, the D.C. emo sound began to influence other bands such as Moss Icon, Nation of Ulysses, Dag Nasty, Soulside, Shudder to Think, Fire Party, Marginal Man, Foundation and Gray Matter, many of which were released on MacKaye's Dischord Records.
At the same time, in the New York/New Jersey area, bands such as Native Nod, Policy of 3, Rye Coalition, and Quicksand[9] were feeling the same impulse. Many of these bands were involved with the ABC No Rio club scene in New York, itself a response to the violence and stagnation in the scene and with the bands that played at CBGBs, the only other small venue for hardcore in New York at the time.
Following the disbanding of Embrace in 1986, MacKaye established the influential group Fugazi, and was soon joined by Picciotto. While Fugazi itself is not typically categorized as emo, the band's music is cited as an influence by popular second-wave bands such as Sunny Day Real Estate,[10] Far,[11] Braid,[12] and Jimmy Eat World.[13]
Second wave (1994–2000)
As Fugazi and the Dischord Records scene became increasingly popular in the indie underground of the early 1990s, new bands began to spring up.
Diary was released by Sunny Day Real Estate in 1994. The band performed on TV shows, including The Jon Stewart Show.
Inspired by Fugazi and Sunny Day Real Estate, Jimmy Eat World released the album Static Prevails in 1996 on Capitol Records.
A Cornerstone of the late-Nineties emo movement was Weezer's 1996 album Pinkerton, which was to be considered one of the defining emo records of the 90s and was said to have introduced emo to a larger and more mainstream audience.[14][15]
In 1997, Deep Elm Records released the first installment in a series of compilations called Emo Diaries, featuring tracks from Jimmy Eat World, Samiam, and Jejune.
Mainstream emo (2000–present)
While Jimmy Eat World had played emocore-style music early in their career, by the time of the release of their 2001 album Bleed American, the band had downplayed its emo influences, releasing more pop-oriented singles such as "The Middle" and "Sweetness". Newer bands that sounded like Jimmy Eat World (and, in some cases, like the more melodic emo bands of the late 90s) were soon included in the genre.[16]
2003 saw the success of Chris Carrabba, the former singer of emo band Further Seems Forever, and his project Dashboard Confessional. Carraba found himself part of the emerging "popular" emo scene. Carrabba's music featured lyrics founded in deep diary-like outpourings of emotion. While certainly emotional, the new "emo" had a far greater appeal amongst adolescents than its earlier incarnations.[17]
At the same time, use of the term "emo" expanded beyond the musical genre, which added to the confusion surrounding the term. The word "emo" became associated with open displays of strong emotion. Common fashion styles and attitudes that were becoming idiomatic of fans of similar "emo" bands also began to be referred to as "emo." As a result, bands that were loosely associated with "emo" trends or simply demonstrated emotion began to be referred to as emo.[18]
In a strange twist, screamo, a more aggressive sub-genre of emo that began in the early 90s, also had a reformulation of sound and has found greater popularity in recent years through bands such as Glassjaw.[19]
The difficulty in defining "emo" as a genre may have started at the very beginning. In a 2003 interview by Mark Prindle, Guy Picciotto of Fugazi and Rites of Spring was asked how he felt about "being the creator of the emo genre." He responded:
I don't recognize that attribution. I've never recognized "emo" as a genre of music. I always thought it was the most retarded term ever. I know there is this generic commonplace that every band that gets labeled with that term hates it. They feel scandalized by it. But honestly, I just thought that all the bands I played in were punk rock bands. The reason I think it's so stupid is that—what, like the Bad Brains weren't emotional? What—they were robots or something? It just doesn't make any sense to me.
